Our Strategy
Sumu Energy is located within a Texas region so that it can easily access the planned and existing leases in our exploration and drilling sites. Our Primary focus is to acquire and develop proven reserves that remain undeveloped or overlooked by larger operators. This is a low risk strategy that can deliver consistent results for our stakeholders while scaling our operations footprint in targeted areas .
We have planned or current operations in the Eagle Ford Shale trend area and in the Permain basin area, both well are established productive regions in Texas . These areas have lots of infrastructure and a large number of oil field service companies making logistics easy to manage . We continue to actively explore opportunities in other similar areas. The Eagle Ford shale trend area typically has more than 100 running drilling rigs, and has been one of the most active shale plays worldwide. According to our engineers , this play will continue to develop in the future decades. Located in South Texas, the Eagleford shale continues to benefit from a high flow of liquid yields, showing positive prospects for well economics without being affected by low natural gas prices.
We also plan to employ a combination of conventional tools and the latest innovative technologies to ensure that our associates and professionals verify and estimate all the potential reserves accurately. During exploration and development , our primary processes may include thermal imaging, well analysis, well log analysis , traditional subsurface geology, gravity evaluation. 3D seismic imaging , hyperspectral surveys, and more. Each case is different requiring different tool. We use realistic innovation , i.e. proven methods that add value to the process.
After drill site evaluation , our experts work together to determine the best possible production strategies to increase the EUR (estimated ultimate recovery) of oil & gas reserves. Some of our EOR (enhanced oil recovery ) techniques may include Nitrogen injection, Co2 injection, lateral or horizontal leg drilling, water flooding, and more depending on the engineering recommendations and the type of reservoir .
